I would say performance, risk and productivity as best differentiators?
I was not thinking exactly about "slugging". If "the product is getting ever bigger and more complex" because of a business requirement, then shouldn't this complexity remain in the paying version and pay for itself?
If the additional complexity does not pay for itself, then wouldn't your new pricing scheme equates to asking the lower end users to subsidize it?
Maybe it's a question of marketing a higher price for the Enterprise Edition and leaving Saxon-B pretty basic, unless you expect price stickiness.
