I suppose it depends on the conditions and frequencies of those major releases. Do they happen about annually? I like the major/minor model... similar to oXygen. I'd also be tempted to suggest that you offer free (on registration) Professional Edition licenses to certified academic institutions. This being a loss leader, as they train those who go work in companies which then buy the enterprise edition. Either that, or the use they make of it is so minor that they could easily replace it with something else and it benefits Saxon to be used in more places than not. -JamesC
